Working Time Solutions Vacancies

There are currently two vacancies:

Application Developer

Experienced application VB.NET developer with good knowledge of the .NET Framework and Microsoft SQL Server to join our small development team based at our offices in North Manchester.

The work will involve development of new features and modules extending our WORK Suite™ family of application products. The successful candidate will be involved in the development of a new ‘self service’ module which will be web based and developed in Silverlight 3 with a SQL back end. The successful candidate will have good UI design skills and write well organised code. As this is a real world job, the position will also involve some maintenance work on the existing code base.

Technical Support

This is a varied role supporting in-house users (networking, SQL Server, MS Exchange), providing technical support to the sales team, installation of our server and client WORK Suite™ application suite on our client’s systems and customer support (both on site and remote/telephone support).

The successful applicant will have practical experience in supporting Microsoft servers and clients. Specifically this will cover MS Windows Server 2003 and 2008, MS SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, policies and security groups. Our clients are typically enterprise level users and the secure and professional set up our applications on their IT infrastructure is a must.

The role will be based in our offices in North Manchester but will also involve some travelling and on-site work. The successful candidate with good interpersonal skills will be encouraged to progress into an Application Consultant role and spend more time customer facing supporting the sales team, delivering training and client consulting in addition to the Technical Support role.
